David Marsden Award The David Marsden Best Paper Prize was created in commemoration of Professor David Marsden who founded and coordinated Network G: Labor Markets, Education, and Human Resources.  The prize is awarded to papers that address substantive questions and issues related to Network G and that reflect David Marsden’s unique capacity to foster theory-driven research, to engage […] Early Career Workshop Launched in 2016, the SASE Early Career Workshop (ECW) is a one-day workshop that provides an opportunity for a longer and deeper discussion of applicants’ conference papers and is hosted by senior SASE professors. Applicants must be PhD students and researchers having obtained their PhD within 3 years of the annual SASE meeting. Socio-Economic Review Best Article Prize The SER Best Article Prize is awarded yearly to a paper that addresses substantive questions and issues that have far reaching implications; clearly and effectively engages prior theory and research; and uses state of the art research methods to analyze new or existing data sets.  Alice Amsden Award Launched in 2019, the Alice Amsden Best Book Award is granted to an outstanding scholarly book that breaks new ground in the study of economic behavior and/or its policy implications with regard to societal, institutional, historical, philosophical, psychological, and ethical factors.
