Click here to watch SASE’s first Women and Gender Forum webinar, co-organized with Digit (Digital Futures at Work Research Centre) as part of the ESRC (Economic and Social Research Council) Festival of Social Science. For this webinar, Dr. Francesca Sobande, a lecturer in digital media studies at the School of Journalism, Media and Culture at Cardiff University, spoke on how the digital creativity of Black women is often exploited by commercial organizations, including brands that attempt to “diversify” their image due to its potential profitability.

The webinar originally took place on 11 November 2020. Click through to watch a recording of the event.
