Transforming Capitalism: Paradox or Opportunity? Hybrid Event

The MPP Research Cluster “Transformational Economies and Societies” will be hosting a hybrid event on December 9th from 15.30-17.00 (CET), titled “Transforming Capitalism: Paradox or Opportunity?” The event will feature special guests Julia Ott (co-director of the Heilbroner Center for Capitalism Studies at the New School for Social Research in NYC) and Rebecca Henderson (author of the book “Reimagining Capitalism in a World on Fire” and Professor at Harvard Business School), and will be moderated by SASE Network I co-organizer Lara Monticelli.

EVENT FORMAT: The event is conceived as a debate between the two scholars on whether or not it is possible to transform or reform capitalism “from within” and the potential ways of doing so. 

JOIN ONLINE OR IN PERSON: The event is going to be held in hybrid modality, meaning that you will be able to attend online OR to join physically in a room at CBS and view the event on a big screen together with me (the two speakers are attending online from the U.S).
