SASE Women and Gender Forum (WAG) Call for Volunteers

The SASE Women and Gender Forum is looking for volunteers to further develop the group and help organize online and in-person events at the annual meetings. Tasks involve the invitation of keynote speakers, planning and chairing sessions and supporting the organization of future events. The Women and Gender Forum (WAG) was established in November 2017, as an interest group of the Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics (SASE). Membership is open to all female SASE members and those who identify as women in a way that is significant to them. WAG has three objectives:

  1. to improve senior representation of women in academia,
  2. to provide a networking space for female scholars and those who identify as women in a way that is significant to them, and
  3. to facilitate discussions about issues such as publishing challenges, work-life balance, leadership roles, or career progression.
