Thank You to the New School
SASE would like to thank The New School for Social Research for hosting our 30th anniversary conference—the best-attended conference in SASE history!
The New School continues to celebrate its centenary all year, and invites SASE members to apply (or to circulate the call for applications) to its graduate programs.
Facing a future in flux, participants of the 2019 SASE conference dared to ask: How can we understand where we’re headed, and how are the changes around us influencing inequalities, governance, labor, technology, and the international balance of power?
At The New School for Social Research in the heart of New York City, graduate students integrate multiple disciplines in the social sciences and humanities as they investigate those same questions and tackle today’s most pressing issues—capitalism, migration, democracy, global mental health, and beyond.
Thinking about graduate school, or know a prospective student ready to combine theory with action to shape the future of social thought? Explore our master’s, PhD, and graduate certificate programs in the following departments:
- Creative Publishing and Critical Journalism
- Gender and Sexuality Studies
- Historical Studies
- Liberal Studies
The New School for Social Research is now accepting Fall 2020 applications.
Deadline for full-fellowship applicants: January 7. All applicants are eligible for merit-based scholarships, which range from 25% to 75% of tuition.
