A Grand Prix

Patrick Le Galès, former SASE President and prolific scholar at Sciences Po Paris, was recently honored with the prestigious CNRS Silver Medal. A political analyst and comparative sociologist, Le Galès is a CNRS (French National Center for Scientific Research) research director of the Center for European Studies and Comparative Politics at Sciences Po – Paris and Dean of the Urban School at Sciences Po.

The CNRS Silver Medal is awarded every year to some fifteen researchers – and too rarely to social scientists. Scholars are distinguished for “the originality, the quality, and the importance of their work, recognized on the national and international level”.

Hooray, Patrick!
