Tristan Auvray
H: Markets, Firms and Institutions

Tristan Auvray is an associate professor in economics at the University Sorbonne Paris Nord. His research interests include corporate governance and corporate financialization. He focuses on corporate elites and the structural power of shareholders, whether they are family owners or institutional investors. His research also deals with the long history of the relationships between finance and non-financial corporations. Influenced by the institutionalist approach of industrial economics, Tristan is more generally interested in the structure of markets and industries, including the financial sector, its regulation, and the dominant players in banking and asset management. He published a number of books in French on these topics, as well as several articles in journals such as the Cambridge Journal of Economics or the Review of Evolutionary Political Economy.
