Ritwick Ghosh is a Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Environmental Studies at New York University. Ritwick studies the role of economic ideas in sustainability transitions, primarily focused on land governance. As an interdisciplinary social scientist, he draws on theories of institutional change across Science and Technology Studies (STS), Ecological Economics, and Political Ecology. Prior to his PhD, Ritwick worked with UN Environmental Program (UNEP) and Centennial Group – a private economic consulting firm. His work has been published in top-tier social science journals including the Annals of American Association of Geographers, Cultural Economy, and Land Use Policy. Ritwick has a PhD and MPA from Cornell University.
