Rami Kaplan

Rami Kaplan is a Senior Lecturer at the Departments of Sociology and Anthropology and Labor Studies, Tel Aviv University. A political and organizational sociologist, his research spans various aspects of global corporate capitalism, including its historical emergence and expansion, business and society politics, corporate power and social responsibility, transnational business elite networks, global diffusion, and neoliberalism. Recently he studies global environmental politics, particularly the role of both transnational business elite networks and of large financial institutions (the ESG movement) in shaping climate governance. He also writes on the rise of anti-liberal populism in Israel and the world.
