Jean-Samuel Beuscart

Jean-Samuel Beuscart is a researcher at the Social Sciences Department of Orange Labs (Sense) and associate researcher at LISIS (University Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée). His research builds on economic sociology to study the digitization of markets and consumption, with a focus on valuation devices and recommendation systems. He is the author (with Kevin Mellet) of Promouvoir les oeuvres culturelles (La Documentation Française, 2012) and Sociologie d’internet (with Eric Dagiral and Sylvain Parasie, 2016). Current areas of interest include digitally enhanced sustainable behaviors and collaborative consumption.
