Hang Young Lee

Hang Young Lee is Lecturer of Sociology at Macquarie University. His research areas span social inequality, social stratification, economic sociology, social networks, and quantitative research methods. His research has centered on illuminating social processes that facilitate or constrain the social mobility of individuals, more precisely the mechanism of cumulative advantage/disadvantage whereby the advantaged remain privileged, and the disadvantaged remain underprivileged. His recent publications have appeared in Research in Social Stratification and MobilitySocial Currents, and Journal of European Social Policy.
