B: Globalization and Socio-Economic Development
Caroline E. Arnold is an assistant professor at Brooklyn College-City University of New York. She received her PhD in political science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2006. Caroline’s research focuses on the political economy of development and industrial upgrading, with a focus on India and Turkey. She is particularly interested in the historical, institutional, and international forces that shape organizations of production, the construction of labor markets, and provision of infrastructure at the local level.
