Fully Funded PhD Opportunity – University of Glasgow
The University of Glasgow (Adam Smith Business School) is offering a fully funded PhD studentship, supported by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) via the Scottish Graduate School for Social Science (SGSSS).
Project Title: Public Futures, Deprivatisation, and Municipalisation: Addressing Inequalities of Local Public Provision
Pathway: Social Inequalities
Supervisors: Dr. Franziska Paul and Prof. Andrew Cumbers (University of Glasgow), Lavinia Steinfort (Transnational Institute)
Funding: Covers stipend, study fees, and additional research training support
Eligibility: Open to UK-based and international students
Start Date: October 2025
The scholarship is available as a 3.5-year program (covering PhD and placement) or a 1+3.5-year program (including a Master’s degree).
