Institute for Socio-Economics


The University Duisburg-Essen recently founded an Institute for Socio-Economics.

Under founding director Professor Till van Treeck, the Institute for Socio-Economics will seek to strengthen the research profile of its faculty and offer its own Master’s degree in Socio-Economics. In addition, the institute will supervise the economics of the teacher training courses of the Faculty of Social Sciences. Offers in the elective area of ​​existing social science courses at the faculty are also part of the teaching profile of the Institute for Socio-Economics.
