Institute for Socio-Economics
The University Duisburg-Essen recently founded an Institute for Socio-Economics.
Under founding director Professor Till van Treeck, the Institute for Socio-Economics will seek to strengthen the research profile of its faculty and offer its own Master’s degree in Socio-Economics. In addition, the institute will supervise the economics of the teacher training courses of the Faculty of Social Sciences. Offers in the elective area of existing social science courses at the faculty are also part of the teaching profile of the Institute for Socio-Economics.
