Elena Ayala-Hurtado

Elena Ayala-Hurtado is a PhD student at the Department of Sociology at Harvard University (US). Her research centers on the experiences and meaning-making of precarious or insecure university graduates in the United States and Spain. She is particularly interested in the intersection of educational privilege and insecurity in people’s understandings of themselves, their projected futures, and their plans for action. She has published work in The British Journal of Sociology.
