International Seminar: New Directions in Economic Sociology

The Department of Sociology and the Postgraduate Program in Sociology at the University of Sao Paulo are delighted to extend our warmest invitation for the international seminar “New Directions in Economic Sociology.” This event will bring together participants for an open and engaging discussion on the present state and future paths for the field of Economic Sociology.

The seminar aims to foster a vibrant exchange of ideas and perspectives, showcasing diverse research and insights from scholars around the world. We believe that Economic Sociology holds tremendous potential to shed light on the economic aspects of human lives, thus influencing policies, institutions, and communities. By bringing together leading experts and emerging voices in the field, we hope to explore new avenues, address challenges, and begin to chart ways forward for Economic Sociology.

We hope that you will join us. We firmly believe that your presence would enhance the academic exchange and contribute to the broadening of the global dialogue on Economic Sociology.

We encourage you to disseminate this invitation among your colleagues and networks who might share an interest in the field of Economic Sociology.

The program for this international seminar can be checked in the poster.
