Teaching Fellow – International Business

The University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School seeks an outstanding candidate for the position of Teaching Fellow – International Business. This is a fixed-term position for 3 years based at Park End Street, Oxford.

The Teaching Fellow will support the International Business faculty in the development and delivery of its portfolio of courses; including course content and materials, student assessment and support, and curriculum and pedagogical innovation. The Teaching Fellow will have responsibility for undertaking advanced academic study to underpin lectures and class teaching to organise specific areas of the syllabus and produce lecture notes, teaching cases and other course materials, reading lists, and reference guides, sourcing materials and writing for different student audiences. The Teaching Fellow will act as a first contact for MBA (and executive MBA) students to provide support on teaching and other course related matters; support the International Business faculty with any administrative duties and may be requested to participate in undergraduate and graduate student admission process.

The successful candidate will hold, or be nearing completion, of a PhD and have the ability or potential to be a committed and effective teacher of graduate students and to carry out course design, student assessment and examination. The successful candidate will have the ability to engage with MBA level students and have an understanding of the challenges of the MBA teaching environment. The successful candidate will have the ability to engage with senior faculty in development of innovative course design including the potential of digital learning environments. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will work effectively with colleagues as part of a team.
