CfP: ‘Lessons learned’ ? Studying Learning Devices and Processes in Relation to Technological Accidents
2nd AGORAS Conference
December 13th-14th 2018, Paris
The conference theme is “Lesson learned? Studying learning devices and processes in relation to technological accidents”. Its main objective is to draw on insights from sociology, history, management science and political science to better understand how actors responsible for nuclear safety assimilate phenomena linked to the occurrence of accidents and how that enables them to produce new know-how and develop new practices. The second objective of the conference is to encourage the debate around the methods and approaches used by researchers to try to understand and analyze learning processes and the social and material conditions that make those processes possible.
