Request a SASE Network Name Change

Reqests for network name or network description changes need to be submitted to the SASE office by the end of March at the latest, so that they can be reviewed and evaluated by the NOC in time for discussion at the next July EC meeting. Approved changes in network name and/or description will take effect from the subsequent academic year, in time for the next Annual Conference submission window.

Please note that before submission of the request for change to the SASE office, proposals for network name or network description changes should be first discussed by the respective network organisers in the NOF and with the network membership/constituency of regular network participants.

After that, network organizers should submit a short application detailing the rationale behind their proposed name or description change together with evidence/summary of the results of their consultation with the NOF and the network membership / constituency.

Proposed changes of network name and / or network description will be reviewed by the NOC, who will then make a recommendation to the EC, after consultation with the NOF representatives and the Network Organisers themselves.

The EC will vote on the requested change of network name or description at the July EC meeting.
