The Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies invites applications from postdoctoral researchers (f/m/d) in Social Science in the following areas:
- Political Economy
- Economic Sociology
- Technology and Statehood
In addition, there is also a postdoctoral research position in the field of wealth and social inequality, funded by the Leibniz Prize awarded to Prof. Dr. Jens Beckert by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
Postdoctoral researchers are employed on a two-year contract starting on October 1, 2027, with salary and benefits according to the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD E13). The MPIfG provides an attractive, international research environment in which they pursue a project of their own choice within the field of wealth research.
