Annual Conference: Montreal 2025
The SASE 2025 Annual Conference was held July 9–12 at the Palais des Congrès in Montréal, Canada, with virtual sessions from July 1–3. Centered on the theme Inclusive Solidarities: Reimagining Boundaries in Divided Times, the conference brought together scholars and practitioners to examine how social movements, institutions, and communities confront division and build new forms of collective inclusion.
2024
Annual Conference: Limerick 2024
The SASE 2024 Annual Conference was held June 27–29 at the University of Limerick in Ireland. The event brought together scholars, researchers, and practitioners to explore how socio-economic research can contribute to more dignified and sustainable economic lives. With a focus on disrupting the emotions, politics, and technologies of neoliberalism, the conference featured wide-ranging discussions; from global political economy and institutional design to the lived experience of economic life.

Annual Conference: Rio de Janeiro 2023
The SASE 2023 Annual Conference took place July 20–22 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, hosted by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
