Becoming a SASE Member

SASE membership confers all of the advantages of access to a vibrant, diverse intellectual community. You will receive a subscription to our flagship journal, Socio-Economic Review, and access to exclusive news, listings, and announcements on our website, as well as participating in an active network of scholars exploring issues in socio-economics from a variety of different angles. Membership is also required to attend our Annual Meeting. Although your username and password on the SASE website will always provide access to the submission system and online program, SASE memberships run from January 1st to December 31st, regardless of registration date, to correspond to the subscription calendar of SER.

Membership Options:

1. MEMBERSHIP ONLY: Join or renew now to enjoy an uninterrupted subscription to Socio-Economic Review and early access to information about our annual conference. To renew your membership (that is, if you have been a SASE member in the past), log in to the site and click the "Renew Membership" link on the gray login bar.  If you are new to SASE, scroll down to the bottom of the page and choose the appropriate membership option (student/non-student).

If you have forgotten your username and password, click the "forgot login" link to the right of the spaces where you would enter your username and password.

2. MEMBERSHIP + MEETING REGISTRATION: SASE membership and registration for the 2014 annual meeting to be held in Chicago, USA.

3. FREE Account: "Create a Profile Now and Pay Later" You must have a username and password to use the submissions system on the SASE website. If you only wish to submit a paper or session for the 2014 conference, you may choose to create a free account in order to access our submissions system.

Please note that membership and conference fees are non-refundable.

Non-Student Membership

Student Membership

$65 Annual Membership Fee Pay here only if you are new to SASE. 2-Year Non-Student Membership

$240 2-Year Membership Fee Commit to SASE and save time and money! Join for two years and receive $20 off your membership payment. Pay here only if you are new to SASE. Institutional Membership

$500 Annual Membership Fee New this year: SASE is offering institutional memberships at a low rate of $500 per year. This tax-deductible donation allows your institution to show its support for SASE and includes one gratis conference registration fee for a member of the donating institution. Student Flat Fee

$80 flat fee includes annual membership + meeting registration fees for 2014. Restricted to students from outside OECD/World Bank high income countries. (Flat fee is NOT applicable to students from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dubai, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Trukey, United Kingdom, United States)

Non-Student Flat Fee

$160 flat fee includes annual membership + meeting registration fees for 2014. Restricted to citizens from outside OECD/World Bank high income countries.
